Hiking destinations are accessible. Mount Edziza & Spatsizi Wilderness Provincial Parks offer some of the most remote wilderness trailheads where a “super natural” adventure is a mere step away. These two parks provide stunning contrasts with their extraordinary geology. The circuitous ‘cone’ trails on Mount Edziza guides the hiker to spectacular views of Eve Cone, Coffee and Cocoa Craters. A side trip to the incredible Spectrum Range Mountains leaves the traveler dazzled by the brilliant red, yellow and purple colors staining the steep slopes. It has to be seen to be believed!

For the less avid hiker there is a day hike not far from the lodge. Todagin Mountain’s trail head is approximately 13 km south of the lodge along the Cassiar highway. The hike is generally 3 hrs one way. Upon arriving at tree line you are welcomed by a meadow of wild flowers. The spectacular scenic view consists of the Iskut valley’s chain of lakes. This is a great way to take in the true northern experience.
